Dance Class Tuition Information from our studio in Huntsville, AL

Since 2003, Heidi Knight School of Dance has been helping young children throughout North Alabama to become better dancers.

Our Fees

Annual Registration Fee:

$50 per student
*NON-REFUNDABLE

Annual Twirl Supply Fee:

Dancers enrolled in Twirl classes will receive a reward ribbon for their dance bags, a fun activity book, and a certificate of completion at the end of the year. The Twirl Fee for these items is $35.00 per dancer and will be auto-drafted on September 15, 2023.

Annual Showcase Fee:

Approximately $90 per student. Auto-drafted on February 15th. Late fees apply after Feb. 15th.
*Included with the Showcase Fee, each family will receive an online DVD of each performance. The Showcase Fee also assists with the costs of producing a professional Showcase: Facility rental, production costs & labor, hospitality & security crews, etc.

Showcase Costume Fee:

Approximately $80-$90. Auto-drafted November 15th. Late fees apply after November 15th.

Tuition

Tuition is based on the entire season of dance. Our season runs August 28, 2023 through June 8, 2024. Tuition is not based on the number of classes in a month or on attendance. There is NO refund for missed classes, or classes cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of HKSD (severe weather, etc.). Dancers are welcome to make up these classes; However, there is not an option to make up classes missed due to scheduled holidays when HKSD is closed.

Payment Options: You may pay the entire season in full (email our office if you’d like to choose this option) OR divide it up into 10 equal installments. The first non-refundable installment (applied to June 2024) will be charged on August 1st. The remaining installments will be charged to the primary card on file on the 1st of each month, September 2023 – May 2024. Families who enroll after August 1st will be charged the registration fee and one installment (June 2024). Families who enroll after classes begin will be charged the registration fee and two installments (registration month and June 2024). These fees are non-refundable.

Monthly tuition installment amount is based on the number of hours taken per week.

When more than one child in a family is enrolled, add the total number of hours per week. Family discounts apply only to siblings under the same account.

Acrobatics Classes: Tuition for acrobatics classes is not included in class or sibling discounts below. Tuition for students enrolled in an acrobatics class is an additional $65 per month. Students must be enrolled in a dance class at HKSD to enroll in acrobatics.
